People don't care how much you know...until they know how much you care!
Left to Right: Ms. Forrester, Mrs. Everix, Ms. Zoellner, and Mrs. Broad
Mrs. Broad started her teaching career in 2015. She has taught 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade and is excited to teach 1st grade. Before her first year of teaching, she was a substitute teacher and a teaching assistant for Indian Prairie School District. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, from Lewis University. Mrs. Broad loves coming to work every day because of her amazing students! When Mrs. Broad is not teaching she enjoys watching movies, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Everix’s second home is her first grade classroom at Spring Brook School. She couldn’t imagine a better age to help guide children with their learning. Mrs. Everix received her Bachelor’s degree from North Central College as well as her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. One of her favorite parts about being a teacher is visiting with her former students and hearing about the wonderful things they have accomplished. Mrs. Everix loves doing all sorts of activities with her husband Mark and her two sons, Jacob and Matthew. She also enjoys baking, cooking, taking trips to Lambeau Field, and spending time with family and friends.
Ms. Forrester's dream of becoming a teacher came true in 2014 and the blessings just continue to flow! She received her Masters of Arts in Education from National Louis University. Ms. Forrester enjoys inspiring young minds, relaxing, and spending time with her daughter and precocious pooch Precious!
Ms. Zoellner loves being a first grade teacher here at Spring Brook! She received her Bachelor’s Degree in the Teaching of English from UIC in 2011 and her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Roosevelt University in 2015. Ms. Zoellner loves teaching and having fun with her first grade huskies! When she is not teaching, Ms. Zoellner loves reading, traveling, crafting, and playing with her two cats, Taz and Lily. Ms. Zoellner really loves owls and elephants; she collects them at home, and sometimes they take over her classroom too!
