MEET OUR ADMINISTRATION TEAM
Student Services Coordinator Vicki Lilas and Principal David WorstWelcome to Spring Brook Elementary School! It is the goal of the staff to form partnerships with you on behalf of your children. Parental involvement in school is the best indicator of a student’s success. When home, school, and the community all work together, there is no limit to what we can achieve.
For those of you who can volunteer to help us in some way, either directly in the classrooms, LMC, or through the PTA, we will be grateful for your assistance. For those whose schedules do not permit you to volunteer your time, please take the time to review your child’s day and homework. This tells your child that their learning is important to you.
If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us at 630-428-6600 or through the e-mail addresses found on this website. Please be a regular visitor to our website!
David Worst
Principal
Spring Brook Elementary SchoolPrincipal Dave Worst
Hello Spring Brook Families,
My name is Dave Worst, and it is my privilege to serve at Spring Brook Elementary School where I am beginning my 16th year as principal. I have been in education since 1993 and have been a teacher at both elementary and middle school levels, an assistant principal at Hill Middle School, and the principal of Gombert Elementary School prior to coming to Spring Brook. I enjoy spending time with my family, being a grandpa, reading, and playing pickleball.
Spring Brook is a wonderful school because the teachers, staff, and parents work together for the betterment of every student! Thank you for entrusting your child(ren) to us, and I look forward to an amazing school year!
And as I tell the students everyday, “Remember to have fun, work hard, and be kind”.

Hello Spring Brook Families,
My name is Donna Lanoue, and I am the Principal’s Secretary at Spring Brook. I have worked in district 204 since 1995 and at Spring Brook since 2007. I have held several positions within the district over the years, but the most rewarding is working at Spring Brook Elementary School. I get a front row seat welcoming staff, students and families to our school. My husband and I have two daughters and six very active grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with my family, attending our grandchildren’s sports events, and traveling.
Erin Smith, Health/Office Assistant
Hello Spring Brook families!
My name is Erin Smith and I am the health assistant and attendance secretary at Spring Brook. You’ll see me in the office working alongside Mrs. Lanoue checking in visitors and tracking student attendance. I also assist the nurse when the health office gets busy. I started working at Spring Brook as a Lunchroom Supervisor, then moved into a Teaching Assistant position before eventually moving into my current role in 2018. I have three kids and they are all Spring Brook almuni! My son is a recent college graduate and lives and works in California, my oldest daughter is a student at Butler University in Indianapolis and my youngest daughter will graduate this year from Neuqua Valley High School. I love to spend time with my family and friends, listen to podcasts, snuggle with my 2 dogs and cat, go out for yummy meals with anyone who will join me and spruce up spaces with décor items I thrift. I look forward to another great year with you at Spring Brook!
