• Welcome to Graham’s Library Media Center site!

    Our Library Media Center serves the students at Graham in many different ways. In addition to circulating books, the LMC serves as an extension of the classroom. Our purpose is to reinforce and enrich classroom curriculum using a variety of media.

    Graham’s LMC is totally flexibly scheduled. This allows lessons to be scheduled at the point of need. Students may come in three days in a row when working on a research project. This helps maintain continuity in their work.

    We are totally automated and the students are taught to check out their own materials. Our circulation system is Internet-based so students are able to do searches by title, author, keyword, subject, and series from any computer with Internet access.

    Students are allowed to check out materials as often as they wish. They may check out four items (except kindergarten) and keep them for a period of two weeks.

    We in the LMC work hard to instill a love of literature and learning in all students. We want the students to enjoy their time in the LMC and find it a fun, nurturing environment.
