• Mission Statement: The Metea Valley Department of World Language/English Language Learners believes that language learning promotes understanding, acceptance, and respect for others. We strive to develop interpretive, presentational and interpersonal language skills in order to foster linguistic and academic development. We focus not only on language growth, but also personal growth. We consider language learning to be essential in preparing students to be global citizens.
