Mission Statement:
Our mission is to engage our students to grow in critical thinking skills along with the ability to reason scientifically. We want to empower our students to contribute in creating a more sustainable society and inspire others to do the same.
We value each student as an individual and strive to meet the social, emotional and academic needs for all students in our classrooms and labs.
We believe that learning in the science classroom should be relevant, authentic, and related to real world situations and current events.
We believe that all of our students can grow in their learning. We promote the growth mindset and engage students in equitable grading practices so that students have the ability to demonstrate growth over time.
Safety is a priority and we have a thorough process to keep our labs a place where inquiry and connections can come to life without any risk to our students.
