District 204 Launching Strategic Planning Process
Posted December 7, 2021
Beginning in January 2022, District 204 will embark on a process to develop a strategic plan, a roadmap to help expand our Portrait of a Graduate vision across the district. At the December 6 Board of Education meeting, Batelle for Kids (BFK) presented an overview of the Strategic Planning Process. BFK assisted Indian Prairie in 2018 with the development of our Portrait of a Graduate.
It’s important that our strategic plan reflects the hopes and aspirations of our community and, as such, the design team is representative of our entire district. The team working on this project will consist of a group of diverse stakeholders who represent all aspects of our community including representatives from area businesses, community organizations, higher education, faith leaders, parents, teachers, administrators, and students.
The Strategic Design Team members will meet four times over the next few months:
· Meeting 1: January 27, 2022 | 6:30 - 9:30 PM at Still Middle School, 787 Meadowridge Dr, Aurora
· Meeting 2: February 10, 2022 | 6:30 - 9:30 PM at Still Middle School, 787 Meadowridge Dr, Aurora
· Meeting 3: March 24, 2022 | 6:30 - 9:30 PM at Still Middle School, 787 Meadowridge Dr, Aurora
· Meeting 4: May 12, 2022 | 6:30 - 9:30 PM at Still Middle School, 787 Meadowridge Dr, Aurora
If you are able to attend each of the above meetings and would like to participate as a member of the Strategic Plan Design Team, please fill out this form prior to December 19.
