SNACK DRIVE
10/25/2023
District 204 currently has more than 5,000 students qualifying for free or reduced lunch. Often times, providing adequate healthy food for children can be challenging for low-income families. As a result, students spend time in the nurse’s office with a stomach issue due to hunger.
To address this problem, the Indian Prairie Parents' Council (IPPC) is hosting a monthly drive to collect healthy snacks to provide to students in need. If you would like to help, please click here to purchase snacks from the Amazon Wish List which will be donated to students in need.Snacks used for this purpose include:
- Applesauce
- Goldfish
- Cheerios
- Granola Bars
- Pretzels
- Fruit Snacks
- Cheez-Its
- Graham Crackers
- Nutri-Grain Bars
- Animal Crackers
- Raisins
- Fruit Cups
- Smart Pop Popcorn
To make a monetary donation towards the snack drive, please click Givebacks (memberhub.com)

Winter Wishes

The IPPC Winter Wishes Program is a wonderful opportunity for community members to give back and make a difference in the lives of families who are struggling. The gift cards donated through this program will provide these families with the means to purchase essential items and gifts for their children, making the holiday season a little brighter for them.
The Indian Prairie Parents’ Council and District 204 are grateful for any contributions made to the Winter Wishes Program. The online store offers a variety of gift cards to choose from; Jewel, Walmart, Target, and Meijer.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and for helping us make a difference in our community this holiday season. Together, we can ensure that every family in District 204 has a joyful and memorable holiday season.
The program runs through December 1. For more information about the Winter Wishes Program, please don’t hesitate to reach out to IPPC 1st VP and Unity Chair, Robin Schmidt at rschmidt99@gmail.com
