The Preschool for All Program is a state grant which provides funds for early childhood and family education programs and services that will help young children enter school ready to learn.
This program provides screening and educational programs for children ages 3–5 based on the following priorities: 1) children who have been identified as being at risk of academic failure, 2) children whose family's income is less than four times the poverty guidelines, and 3) other children.
Currently, Prairie Children Preschool has 80 slots for student enrollment through the Preschool for All grant. All students eligible for enrollment in the program will be screened and determined eligible based on at-risk criteria.
Children who are 5 and age eligible for kindergarten will not be enrolled in the program.
