• Field Trips: Other Groups

    Other groups include private and public school groups, homeschoolers, community groups, or any group looking for a planetarium lesson during the school day (between 10:30 and 1:30 pm).

    Field trip programs are best described as live, multimedia LESSONS that are developed and taught by a certified science teacher. All lessons are aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and created to be memorable experiences that cannot be replicated in the typical science classroom.   • The planetarium is a classroom. It is located at the end of a hallway (no exhibit, lobby, or multipurpose space). Before and after field trips, the planetarium is used for high school science courses.

    The VISIT GUIDE includes more details such as costs, accessibility, and visitor procedures. It is highly recommended that you read this document before submitting a field trip request.

    Requests for the 2024-25 school year will be accepted on September 3rd. Forms submitted before 12:01 AM September 3rd will not be processed.
