• Book Checkout:

    • At Young, Kindergarteners may check out one book at a time until winter break. After winter break, Kindergarteners will be allowed to check out 2 books at a time. 1st  through 5th graders get to have TWO books checked out at a time! We don't have a set due date, but after 2-3 weeks we'll be reminding you to renew or return the books on your card.

    Computer Lab/Laptop Usage:

    • All of the students at Young have computer lab or laptop time once a week. Kindergarteners spend 30 minutes in the lab working on computer activities that support what they learn in the classroom. 1st through 5th graders spend at least 50 minutes per week using computers. Our school district has a technology curriculum with skills incorporated in all of our student learning.
