    Welcome Letter 23-24

    Welcome to the Welch Parent Teacher Association. With the help of every member and volunteer, the PTA will continue to provide opportunities and resources for our students and teachers at Welch Elementary. We invite you to join us and become a PTA member this year!  To those who already joined, Thank you! Please don’t forget to come to our meetings and bring a friend!

    When you join the Welch PTA, you are also a member of the Illinois PTA and National PTA. Today’s PTA is a dedicated, powerful, and connected network of over 4 million parents, teachers, students, and leaders making a difference in the education, health, and safety of America’s children.  Locally, your membership provides support to our school in many areas including educational enrichment, supplies, and fun family events at Welch. The Welch PTA invests around $10,000 each year into our school community.  
    As a family member you also receive benefits including:

    ✔ Opportunities to volunteer as a room parent
    ✔ Opportunities to be a committee chair for PTA events and activities
