Science Fair

• Do your children ever ask why or how something happens?
• Do they try to find a scientific answer to it?
• Did they find an answer?
• Do they want to share their findings with others?

The goal of the Brooks Science Fair is: 

• For all K through 5th Grade students to have fun with science
• To give students opportunities to demonstrate creativity
• To experience science for themselves by asking questions and experimenting to discover answers using the scientific method

The Brooks Science Fair is a non-competitive event.

STEM Awareness Program

Do you love visiting your child at school?  Even better, do you enjoy volunteering in your child's classroom?  If so, STEM Awareness is an educational enrichment program for you!  No need to be a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math genius to help!

STEM Awareness is a parent-led, in-class volunteer opportunity two times a year, in the months of October and April.  Each grade level will be presented with on Science/Engineering/Math-based inquiry activity and on Technology-based activity.  Presentation dates and times vary depending on the class and presentations are generally 45 minutes to 1 hour long.  The STEM presentation for each grade level is already created and the materials for the in-class inquiry activities are already stocked at the school and ready for use!  All we require is ENTHUSIASM and a LOVE for VOLUNTEERISM!
