District 204 students advance to Nationals in the Reflections Art Program

The board salutes the District 204 students who are advancing to the National Level of the Reflections Art Program. Fourteen students will be moving on to the national level including Nithin Srinivasan from Patterson Elementary, Anisha Campbell and Vaishnavi Damera from Peterson Elementary, Yeonwoo Choi from Spring Brook Elementary, Mishka Pattanayak from White Eagle Elementary, and Addison O’Neill and Nitara Rustogi from Young Elementary. From the middle schools, Aarya Sobti at Gregory Middle School, is advancing to nationals. At the high school level, Sanya Kapoor, Ishaanvi Vemula, and Alicia Mathew from Metea Valley High School, along with Idhant Ranjan and Aruna Nagabhushan from Neuqua Valley High School, and Sara Bansal from Waubonsie Valley High School are also advancing to nationals. 

Congratulations to these students on this outstanding accomplishment.


Special Olympics Illinois State Basketball Tournament

The board salutes the STEPS Eagles basketball team for a job well done at the Division #4 State Championship. STEPS students Cristian Richardson and Matthew Schuch, both received the Sportsmanship Award.

2024 eSports Champions

The board salutes Still Middle School for their achievement as the 2024 eSports Champions after beating Hill Middle School by a score of 11 - 7. Esports, which is funded by the Indian Prairie Educational Foundation, promotes social and emotional skills, integrates Portrait of a Graduate competencies, and exposes students to STEM career opportunities.

Will County Clerk’s Office Student Ambassador and Election Judge Program

The board salutes Waubonsie Valley junior Yagnesh Lokesh, and seniors Jaden-Venjs Cuyos Racelis and Simraah Sakkaria, as well as Neuqua Valley juniors Joshua Barlan, Savannah Bramasco, and Rhianna Mitra, and seniors Greshaan Bhatthal and Kaelyn McGhie, for enrolling in the Will County Clerk’s Office Student Ambassador and Election Judge Program. These students dedicated their time to serve the community and participate in the election process.

Warriors Hockey Club captures fourth consecutive state title

The board salutes the Warriors Hockey Club for capturing their fourth consecutive state title for the combined Blackhawk Cup. The Warriors Hockey Club, which consists of players from Waubonsie and Metea Valley High Schools, won in overtime by a score of 2-1 over Chicago North.
