Hello Sharks! I’m excited to be joining Scullen and I look forward to the new experience and working with all of you. I began my career as a High School Art Teacher and Track Coach. Later, I worked at an Alternative 6-12 school as the Transitional High School teacher focusing on students with academic and social-emotional challenges. I began my administrative career as an Administrative Dean at a K-5 elementary school and then worked as an Assistant Principal at Hill Middle School for the past 5 years.
I have a passion for education and is surrounded by a family of educators. I thrive in working with youth culture from mentoring to helping to empower and positively impact students' lives. Finally, I consider myself to be a lifelong student. I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, a master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Loyola University Chicago, a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Frances, and is currently seeking his Ed. D in Educational / Transformative Leadership at Lewis University. If there's anything that I can do for you don’t hesitate to ask and I’ll do my best to get it done.Assistant Principal
